Now located at the Owls Head Transportation Museum,

Owls Head, Maine

September 10-13th 2026

Pinetreejamboree, “the 1/2 fast, hot rod races,” is a period-correct, moving history exhibition celebrating flathead engines and the early days of drag racing, tracing its roots from the early teens to the early 50s! It is also a camping event where racing happens! It is as much about the people as about the cars and racing!

Beginning in 2026, Pine Tree Jamboree will be hosted at the Owls Head Transportation Museum in Owls Head, Maine — a partnership dedicated to preserving history while inspiring the next generation of builders, racers, and vintage-speed enthusiasts.

Pine Tree Jamboree Announces New Location and New Collaboration with Owls Head Transportation Museum

The Pine Tree Jamboree is entering an exciting new chapter after a successful 5 year run. The 2025 event surpassed all expectations, fueled by a loyal community of hot rod enthusiasts who continue to honor the spirit of early drag racing.

Whether participants have been with the event from the start or joined the lineup for the first time, their passion has transformed the Pine Tree Jamboree into a tradition rooted in flathead engines, friendship, camaraderie, and vintage speed.

Beginning in 2026, the Pine Tree Jamboree will take place at the Owls Head Transportation Museum in Owls Head, Maine.

This is now the official new home of the event.

The move to Owls Head comes with a partnership that stays true to everything the Pine Tree Jamboree has always stood for. Authenticity. Community. History. It also reflects a shared commitment to preservation and education that will carry the culture of traditional hot rodding into the future.

Pine Tree Jamboree continues to stand behind its mission:

To preserve and celebrate traditional hot rodding and early drag racing through authentic, period-correct experiences that honor craftsmanship, ingenuity, camaraderie, and community.

Through collaboration with the Owls Head Transportation Museum, this mission expands. Pine Tree Jamboree is now committed to inspiring and educating the next generation of builders, racers, and vintage enthusiasts through hands-on connection, heritage, and vintage racing.

The move to Owls Head will strengthen the event by providing greater reach, resources, and visibility while protecting the roots that matter most. The values and the spirit of the Pine Tree Jamboree remain unchanged.

What stays the same:

• Flathead-powered machines with nothing newer than 1953

• Period correct builds

• Good people, good stories, and a good time

• Grass roots VINTAGE DRAG RACING!!

What is new:

The Pine Tree Jamboree will now be held at the Owls Head Transportation Museum

Event activities will directly support youth programs and educational efforts at the Museum. More information about Pine Tree Jamboree 2026 will be released soon, including dates, registration, and event details.

The event was built for the community that shows up year after year. This next step is being taken with that same community in mind. The organizers are proud of what has been built together and are energized for what comes next.

As we continue planning and moving into this next chapter, we ask that all Pine Tree Jamboree–related communication be directed to Eli and Lisa English. We will be the point of contact for questions, updates, and event coordination going forward. More information is on the way, so we appreciate your patience as we work through the details and build something worthy of this community.

“It is more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.”

With gratitude and thanks,

Eli, Lisa, Alden, and Isaac English
